“I’m the president — I’m always responsible. The suggestion that anybody on my team would play politics or mislead when we’ve lost four of our own is offensive. That’s not what we do.” (Obama)
“I care about 100 percent of the American people.” (Romney)"
My two favorite quotes from the most recent presidential debate. I was impressed with the way Obama owned that question re: Libya. I was more pleased that he pointed out how we try to politicize death.
Politics are so lame (I mean come on, how do the other handful of candidates get excluded), so for Obama to kind of acknowledge that was neat.
As for Romney, obviously I feel like he’s one of the most disingenuous politicians EVER. However, that quote about him caring for 100 percent of the country was the biggest stinky shit he’s ever taken. Dude, I don’t think that even I CARE for 100 percent of the country. I don’t know if ANYONE cares for 100 percent of this country. Don’t fucking say you do you doofus.
Anywho, less than three weeks away from all of this being over. Don’t forget to read Politifact if you have any sense.
